INSIGHT TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Proven over more than 25 years as the fastest and most effective method of logging blast hole temperatures in reactive ground.
NEW STYLE INSTRUMENT AND CARRY CASES NOW AVAILABLE
Thanks again to user input, we are now supplying units with 'pelican' style instrument and carry cases.
The new cases are better shaped, more robust, and give better protection to the units.

The blast hole temperature logger has been developed with the assistance and input from Dyno Nobel, BHP, Glencore and several other mines, engineers and crew. It has been improved and refined significantly over the past 25 years.
It has advanced sensors, 16 bit digital signal processing and a data transmission encoder to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements which can be relied upon.
The dual IR sensors scan the blast hole walls whilst the probe is lowered. The sensor optics have been optimised for the application.
Automated data logging
The Mk8 logging unit records temperature readings to an internal memory which can be accessed via a USB interface.
It records the temperature sample from each sensor, saves the time, date, peak temperatures and a hole ID number.
Logs are saved as an Excel spread sheet which can be opened on a PC, archived, analysed and printed or plotted to a graph.
The unit also allows setting of the logging interval and has a built in temperature monitor with audible and visual alarms which trigger once a pre-set temperature is exceeded.
